About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed resource-loaded schedules for multiple simultaneous satellite production and launch programs, including flight hardware, R&D hardware, tooling, and test equipment
- Work closely with production leadership and engineering program management to integrate production schedules into end-to-end programmatic schedules
- Derive and communicate clear targets and priorities for hardware to production workcenters to ensure on-time delivery
- Steer a team of production coordinators in a matrix organization to ensure correct prioritization and material movement through the factory
- Identify and report on critical path schedule issues, working with leadership to drive necessary actions and decisions
- Perform "what if" schedule modeling and analyses to help make decisions regarding emergent risks
- Create and maintain scheduling processes and tools to identify and act on potential constraints
- Partner with software and procurement teams to implement and maintain a Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering or similar technical discipline, or 5+ years of professional work in the aerospace industry
- 2+ years of professional experience as an integrated master scheduler for medium- to large-sized projects (>2000 lines)
- Proven experience creating resource-loaded schedules
- U.S. Citizenship, Lawful Permanent Residency, or Refugee/Asylee Status required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Smartsheet or MS Project scheduling software
- Proficiency in SQL query writing and ability to create custom dashboards in Grafana, Tableau, or PowerBI
- Experience planning and scheduling using ERP/MRP software systems
- Understanding of the aerospace engineering lifecycle and spacecraft assembly, integration, and test methods
