Production Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate production operations to ensure full delivery of the manufacturing plan
• Manage labour efficiency KPIs including labour cost/kg and headcount control
• Drive a culture of audit readiness ensuring compliance with BRCGS, HACCP, and internal food safety standards
• Lead and champion workplace health and safety (WHS) compliance
• Conduct incident investigations and root cause analysis
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives including process efficiencies and waste minimisation
• Coach and mentor Team Managers to build leadership capability
• Partner with Quality, Engineering, and Inwards Goods teams

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in a food manufacturing environment
• At least 2 years of experience managing frontline leaders or large operational teams
• Strong understanding of WH&S, HACCP, and food manufacturing compliance
• Demonstrated success in improving operational performance and labour utilisation
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
• Tertiary qualification in Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering, or Food Technology (desirable)
• Right to work full-time in Australia/New Zealand
