Production Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day production operations in a continuous manufacturing environment
• Develop and execute production schedules to meet customer demand and plant objectives
• Monitor KPIs including safety, quality, efficiency, scrap, downtime, and on-time delivery
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and reduce waste
• Analyze production data and implement corrective actions to address bottlenecks and process issues
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental requirements, and company policies
• Lead root-cause investigations related to quality, equipment performance, and production losses
• Manage labor utilization, staffing plans, and operating costs within budget targets
• Support capital improvement projects, equipment upgrades, and process optimization initiatives
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Textile, Engineering, Manufacturing, or Operations Management
• 5–10 years of manufacturing leadership experience
• At least 3 years in a Production Manager or Operations Manager role
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and TPM
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and production reporting tools
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in textile manufacturing, fiber production, polymers, or automotive materials
• Experience in continuous-process manufacturing environments
