Production Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement production plans and schedules to ensure timely order fulfillment
• Supervise day-to-day production operations and optimize manpower, machines, and materials
• Coordinate with Stores & Warehouse teams for raw material availability and inventory control
• Monitor and enforce quality standards across all production stages
• Implement process improvements, lean manufacturing, and cost optimization measures
• Track production KPIs including efficiency, rejection rates, and downtime
• Manage the maintenance team and implement preventive maintenance schedules
• Ensure compliance with safety, statutory, health, and environmental regulations
• Provide leadership and mentoring to cross-functional teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering
• 8–12 years of experience in manufacturing or production management
• Experience with PPC, Stores, Maintenance, and Quality functions
• Strong knowledge of production planning, inventory control, and QMS
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, or 5S
• Proficiency in SAP and G-Suite
• Proven track record in managing cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree or MBA in Operations or Supply Chain Management
• Experience in stationery, FMCG, or related manufacturing industries
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and audit compliance
• Exposure to automation and digital manufacturing tools
