Production Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage and control the raw materials area and associated auxiliary plants
• Provide technical and disciplinary leadership to team members, including personnel planning
• Coordinate the supply of raw materials, auxiliary materials, and operating materials to ensure availability and quality
• Ensure timely and sufficient material provision for production processes
• Collaborate closely with process specialists and coordinate with adjacent departments within the plant
• Implement and adhere to all relevant environmental, hazardous substance, and major accident prevention regulations
• Take responsibility for consistent implementation of occupational safety and accident prevention requirements
• Coordinate waste and recycling processing, including external deliveries
• Monitor and implement economic and cost requirements within the area of responsibility

Requirements

• Completed professional training as a Logistics Master or Industrial Master in Chemistry
• Practical experience in a chemical environment, ideally in binder production or handling hazardous substances
• Knowledge of operating within major accident prevention regulations (Störfallbetrieb)
• Several years of leadership experience in a comparable supervisory role
• Strong communication skills and the ability to assertively lead a team
• Proficiency in MS Office; SAP knowledge is an advantage
• Very good written and spoken English skills
