About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage and control the raw materials area and associated auxiliary plants
- Provide technical and disciplinary leadership to team members, including personnel planning
- Coordinate the supply of raw materials, auxiliary materials, and operating materials to ensure availability and quality
- Ensure timely and sufficient material provision for production processes
- Collaborate closely with process specialists and coordinate with adjacent departments within the plant
- Implement and adhere to all relevant environmental, hazardous substance, and major accident prevention regulations
- Take responsibility for consistent implementation of occupational safety and accident prevention requirements
- Coordinate waste and recycling processing, including external deliveries
- Monitor and implement economic and cost requirements within the area of responsibility
Requirements
- Completed professional training as a Logistics Master or Industrial Master in Chemistry
- Practical experience in a chemical environment, ideally in binder production or handling hazardous substances
- Knowledge of operating within major accident prevention regulations (Störfallbetrieb)
- Several years of leadership experience in a comparable supervisory role
- Strong communication skills and the ability to assertively lead a team
- Proficiency in MS Office; SAP knowledge is an advantage
- Very good written and spoken English skills
