Production Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily production operations to ensure production goals and customer commitments are met safely and efficiently.
• Execute production schedules while maximizing equipment utilization and labor efficiency.
• Ensure strict compliance with company safety policies, GMP requirements, food safety standards, and quality procedures.
• Lead, coach, and develop production supervisors, leads, and team members to foster a culture of accountability.
• Manage staffing levels, recruitment, and labor costs in partnership with Human Resources.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators including safety, quality, throughput, downtime, and labor efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize safety, quality, and productivity.

Requirements

• 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, including the supervision of production teams.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and operational metrics.
• Knowledge of GMPs, food safety requirements, quality systems, and workplace safety regulations.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, drive accountability, and resolve conflicts.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, or Business Administration.
• Experience managing supervisors and leading multi-shift operations.
• Experience in the food, beverage, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry.
• Experience leading continuous improvement and process optimization projects.
