Production Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily production operations
• Monitor KPIs daily and implement corrective actions to meet targets
• Coach, train, and evaluate the production team to foster a culture of continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations
• Implement and maintain quality control systems in collaboration with the Quality department
• Work with engineering teams on relocation, installation, and commissioning projects
• Ensure clear and effective communication with production staff and leadership

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of management experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience managing teams in a unionized manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of production system concepts (TPS) such as 5S and root cause analysis
• Understanding of production planning, resource allocation, and equipment coordination
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Fluency in French is required; English proficiency for international interactions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the glass industry
• University degree in management, mechanical engineering, or industrial engineering
