Production Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage staff performance, including training, coaching, and determining appropriate staffing levels to meet production needs.
• Oversee production planning and prioritization to ensure the production schedule is met.
• Assist in the development and management of annual operating and capital budgets.
• Maintain shop floor controls, ensuring equipment, tooling, and raw materials are available and in good working order.
• Enforce all safety policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA regulations and the company's SEAL program.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through the PEAK program and lean principles.
• Monitor and maintain a safe work environment, leading safety committees and investigating safety-related items.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• 5 to 10 years of progressive manufacturing experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory capacity.
• Thorough knowledge of manufacturing methods, techniques, and related equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience using SAP.
• Proven track record in continuous improvement processes and lean manufacturing principles.
