Production Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of production to ensure high levels of quality and performance
• Manage production department budgets, including labor, supplies, consumables, and equipment costs
• Utilize supervisors and team leads to ensure proper training on processes, SOPs, and safety
• Control production metrics and costs while submitting daily progress reports
• Coordinate with other department managers to resolve interdepartmental issues
• Ensure all safety and cleanliness standards are met across all work areas
• Coach and develop supervisors to ensure consistent communication and performance management
• Interview, select, and onboard candidates for production department positions
• Implement and enforce company policies and procedures

Requirements

• 7 to 10 years of experience in a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in a supervisor or management role
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel)
• Ability to read and write English
• Ability to perform sustained light physical effort (20lbs or less)

Preferred Qualifications

• Intermediate knowledge of JDA and DVI systems
