Responsibilities

  • Lead and hold a team of 20+ employees accountable to daily production and delivery goals
  • Drive and model a culture of safety through company programs and training
  • Manage production scheduling and balance customer needs with lead times
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels of raw materials, coatings, and finished goods
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve efficiencies
  • Develop cost reduction initiatives and manage continuous improvement projects
  • Ensure proper documentation for performance evaluations, accident reports, and production data

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 1-3 years of leadership experience, preferably in manufacturing
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for 8-10 hours per day
  • Ability to operate a forklift (training provided if needed)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
  • 1-3 years of experience in a made-to-order manufacturing environment
  • Experience in pre-finishing operations, coating application, or quality standards
  • Experience with industrial paint mixing, color matching, and batch preparation
