Production Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage all on-stage, backstage, and technical details for concerts and events
• Advance technical production needs, including rider requirements and staging changes
• Manage stage, sound, and lighting crews while maintaining labor costs
• Create and maintain daily show schedules and department training materials
• Assist with the maintenance of audio, lighting, backline, and video systems
• Coordinate operational feedback with Talent Buyers and Venue Management
• Oversee budgetary requirements, tracking financial aspects and vendor records
• Ensure the safe and consistent operation of all production equipment

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Experience with stage lighting, pro audio systems, and basic video systems
• Computer literacy in Windows applications
• Strong interpersonal and diplomatic communication skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift or move up to 75 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of production management experience in an entertainment venue or tour
• College degree in a related field
• Experience working in a live music environment
• Experience working with Collective Bargaining Agreements and union stagehands
• Cash handling experience
