Production Manager

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise production operations
• Ensure compliance with production plans
• Implement, monitor, and improve performance indicators (KPIs)
• Develop and apply continuous improvement methodologies (5S)
• Optimize production processes with a focus on energy efficiency and waste reduction
• Lead production teams across shifts, promoting a culture of responsibility and continuous improvement
• Coordinate with maintenance, quality, logistics, and development departments
• Promote industrial digitalization and the integration of Industry 4.0 and AI solutions
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, quality, and energy management standards

Requirements

• Higher education in Engineering (preferably Polymers, Mechanical, Industrial, or similar)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial management or production roles
• Relevant experience in plastic extrusion processes (mandatory)
• Strong skills in production planning and control
• Expertise in industrial organization and team management
• Experience implementing 5S methodologies
• Proficiency in IT tools and ERP/MES systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Industry 4.0 (digitalization, automation, data integration)
• Application of Artificial Intelligence in an industrial context
• Analytical capacity and results orientation
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
