Production Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute production plans to meet customer demand, ensuring alignment with capacity and resource availability
• Ensure all operations comply with process safety, EHS regulations, and food safety standards including GMP and HACCP
• Oversee adherence to product specifications and drive continuous quality improvement initiatives
• Maintain and execute production orders in SAP, including order release, confirmation, and inventory accuracy
• Analyze production data such as yield, batch variance, and OEE to drive automation and system improvements
• Monitor raw material and finished goods inventory to ensure accuracy in SAP
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity, reduce waste, and optimize costs
• Manage and develop production teams, including supervisors and operators, through capability building and performance management
• Coordinate with engineering and maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability and minimal downtime
• Collaborate with R&D, QA, and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth product launches and demand fulfillment

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Food Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 8+ years of production or manufacturing experience, preferably in food ingredients, flavors, or cosmetics
• Proven experience in team management with strong leadership capabilities
• Solid knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and EHS standards
• English fluency is preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with SAP (PP-PI, MM, or WM) or similar ERP systems
• Strong analytical skills with experience managing production KPIs and reporting tools
• Continuous improvement mindset, such as Lean or Six Sigma training
