Production Manager

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by implementing company policies that adhere to local, state, and federal safety and explosive regulations
• Communicate job expectations, monitor results, and coach, counsel, or discipline employees as needed
• Review production orders and schedules to assimilate supply chain requirements, including component types, quantities, and labor
• Plan production operations by establishing priorities and sequences for various manufacturing products
• Coordinate manufacturing activities to ensure production meets internal and external customer delivery requirements
• Work interdependently with Quality Assurance to ensure production meets prescribed specifications and ISO requirements
• Review production, operating, and quality reports to resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems
• Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure safe operational performance and optimum utilization
• Develop or revise standard operational practices and observe workers to ensure compliance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5-8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Extensive experience supervising and managing personnel in production operations
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills, specifically with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong planning, organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to interface effectively with personnel across all levels of the business
• Ability to perform physical demands including bending, lifting up to 30 pounds, and repetitive motion
