Production Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage workshop production processes, specifically focusing on sheet metal and powder coating (pre-treatment, spraying, and curing).
• Implement and enforce safety production regulations, organize safety training, and conduct hazard investigations to prevent accidents.
• Supervise quality standards and process flows to ensure all products meet strict requirements.
• Analyze causes of non-conforming products and implement corrective measures to reduce defect rates.
• Control material and energy consumption (powders, solvents, electricity, gas) to optimize production costs.
• Optimize production workflows to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance overall workshop output.
• Develop and implement equipment maintenance plans to ensure operational continuity and extend machinery lifespan.
• Lead and manage workshop personnel, including recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and talent development.
• Coordinate with procurement, sales, and technical departments to align production plans with material supply and market demand.

Requirements

• College degree or above.
• 5+ years of production management experience, preferably in mechanical or metal parts processing.
• Deep knowledge of sheet metal processing and the full powder coating lifecycle.
• Familiarity with printing processes, including transfer printing and screen printing.
• Proficiency in quality management tools such as SPC and the Seven QC Methods.
• Strong understanding of ISO9001 quality management systems; internal auditor qualification is a plus.
• Specialized training in Lean production, 5S/6S, or TPM (Total Productive Maintenance).
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage high-pressure environments and resolve cross-departmental conflicts.
