Production Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of 24/7 manufacturing operations to achieve production, quality, and safety goals.
• Oversee daily operations including scheduling, staffing, and quality control to ensure on-time shipment of products.
• Drive continuous improvement through Lean manufacturing, Kaizen, and 5S initiatives.
• Foster a strong safety culture (EH&S) to maintain an accident-free work environment and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Mentor and develop production staff, managing employee relations and creating succession plans.
• Monitor KPIs such as scrap reduction, First Pass Yield, and operational standardization.
• Utilize SAP/ERP and Microsoft Office tools to manage production orders and standardize processes.

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in complex, 24/7 plant operations (process manufacturing preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
• Proven expertise in Lean manufacturing, process improvement tools, and Kaizen.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols and basic OSHA regulations.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP experience is a plus) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.
