Production Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the production team to balance quality, safety, morale, productivity, and cost.
• Oversee daily plant operations including scheduling, staffing, and quality control.
• Drive continuous improvement through lean manufacturing initiatives and 5S practices.
• Maintain a visible presence on the production floor through Gemba walks and department meetings.
• Resolve production-related issues, minimize scrap, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring effective delegation and workflow optimization.
• Utilize Microsoft Office and system tools such as SAP/ERP to standardize operations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of management experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical skills.
• Proven experience with lean manufacturing principles and 5S practices.
• Ability to support a 24/7 operation, including working after hours as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in extrusion or plastics manufacturing.
• Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems.
