Production Manager

Dream Three is a production company founded by an award-winning filmmaker and a Broadway actor. We create high-impact, mainstream stories that awaken consciousness and drive cultural change across scripted and unscripted mediums, theater, live events, and immersive experiences.

Responsibilities

• Manage production schedules, including approval gates, milestones, and calendar accountability
• Oversee production budgets, cost tracking, weekly updates, and contingency management
• Lead vendor coordination including RFPs for staging, rigging, lighting, audio, and video
• Liaise with venue contacts regarding rigging, power distribution, and load-in/out timelines
• Coordinate audience operations including staffing matrices, seating plans, and ADA flows
• Oversee technical integration with the Technical Director to approve plots and technical specs
• Produce and maintain run-of-show paperwork such as run sheets and cue sheets
• Coordinate music operations including stems, cue sheets, and playback deliverables
• Own safety and compliance including incident command plans, fire marshal coordination, and permits
• Deliver wrap reports including cost reconciliation and postmortem evaluations

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience producing live theater, corporate/industrial shows, or music events
• Proven mastery of budgeting, scheduling, and vendor RFPs
• Technical literacy in rigging, power, RF planning, and ADA/egress compliance
• Calm, decisive leadership skills under live production conditions
• Impeccable attention to detail and strong written communication skills
• Proficiency with tools like Asana, Slack, Dropbox, and Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with hotels and large event spaces
• Experience working in union houses (IATSE, Teamsters, etc.) and navigating labor rules
• Comfort working in outdoor or non-traditional venues with weather and permitting constraints
