Production Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise daily food production operations for airline and events catering services
• Ensure all production schedules are completed accurately and on time to meet client requirements
• Coordinate staffing levels and labour planning to support operational demands
• Monitor food quality, presentation, and portion control standards
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, food hygiene, health & safety, and company procedures
• Work closely with procurement, logistics, dispatch, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operational flow
• Monitor stock usage, minimise waste, and support cost-control initiatives
• Lead, motivate, and develop production staff through training and performance management
• Maintain accurate production records, reports, and KPI tracking

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Production Manager or similar leadership role within catering, food manufacturing, or hospitality
• Strong understanding of large-scale food production and time-critical operations
• Knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and health & safety regulations
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production reporting systems
• Right to work in the UK
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays where required

Preferred Qualifications

• Food Safety Level 3 certification
• Relevant operational or hospitality qualification
