Production Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain a safe manufacturing environment ensuring OSHA compliance and promoting safety initiatives
• Drive product quality standards by overseeing QC programs and resolving process quality concerns
• Analyze operational data and KPIs to identify trends and implement process improvements
• Manage daily production operations including staffing, labor planning, and scheduling
• Partner with maintenance and scheduling teams to maximize equipment utilization
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and manufacturing excellence programs
• Control operational costs by identifying efficiencies and reducing waste
• Provide leadership, coaching, and support to supervisors and team members
• Communicate production goals and operational updates across departments

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or business preferred, or 7+ years of relevant professional experience with 4 years in leadership
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience (packaging, process engineering, warehousing, or assembly) with a Bachelor's degree
• 4+ years of people management experience
• Proven track record applying lean tools and continuous improvement processes
• Experience leading teams through formally defined management systems
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing supply chain, planning, quality, and inventory control
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Strong leadership, business acumen, and change management skills
