Production Manager

Responsibilities

• Assure employee safety and implement continuous improvement plans to eliminate work-related incidents
• Establish production and quality control standards, policies, and procedures
• Plan and direct production activities and establish priorities to meet customer service and cost factors
• Control inventory, scrap, and material utilization
• Coordinate production activities with procurement, maintenance, and quality control
• Perform root cause analysis in a lean production environment to address non-conformity
• Develop operating methods to improve safety and product quality
• Mentor and develop employees for future advancement
• Compile, store, and retrieve production data
• Oversee plant cleanliness and orderliness

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, engineering, or operations management, or an Associate degree with 5-7 years of related experience
• Current driver's license
• Ability to commit to flexible work hours
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for prolonged periods
• Willingness to work in a non-climate-controlled environment with exposure to noise and fumes

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of MBCI/ABC products and manufacturing processes
• Experience applying lean manufacturing concepts
• Mechanical background
