About the role
Responsibilities
- Ensure execution of weekly and monthly production and packaging programs, guaranteeing 100% order closure in SAP.
- Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) including OTIF, program adherence, and line efficiency.
- Manage production reports and inventory control to ensure accurate month-end closing.
- Oversee the timely management of equipment, raw materials, and packaging resources.
- Guarantee product quality parameters to achieve zero non-conforming products.
- Lead safety, order, and cleanliness programs to achieve zero accidents and full regulatory compliance.
- Drive continuous improvement projects focused on cost reduction, energy savings, and process optimization.
- Manage and develop personnel, including the administration of unionized staff and maintaining skill matrices.
- Coordinate with Quality, Logistics, Maintenance, and HSE departments to ensure operational continuity.
Requirements
- Degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in production management or operational leadership.
- Proven experience managing personnel, including unionized labor.
- Experience in the Chemical, Cement, Food, or Pharmaceutical industries.
- Proficiency in SAP (production/order modules).
- Advanced English skills for international interactions.
- Strong knowledge of unit operations, material and energy balances, and production administration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Power BI is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Training in continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma (Green Belt preferred).
- Experience leading energy-saving projects and process optimization initiatives.
