Production Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Conduct proactive machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on high-speed print and mail manufacturing equipment to ensure optimum productivity.
• Perform emergency/unscheduled repairs and scheduled preventive maintenance during machine service.
• Share machine setup responsibilities with operators for scheduled production runs.
• Utilize mechanical skills to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, job tickets, and work orders to perform required service.
• Support production needs by operating equipment, relieving breaks, and assisting with line changeovers.
• Comply with all OSHA safety and health rules to maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements

• Proven maintenance experience with mailing, packing, or high-speed production machines.
• Technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Experience working in a manufacturing or production setting.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and the ability to operate a PC.
• Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking) is required.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours and lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds.
• Availability to work 3rd shift (10 pm – 6:30 am, Monday - Friday) including mandatory additional hours and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking).
