Production Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Conduct proactive machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on high-speed print and mail manufacturing equipment
• Perform emergency/unscheduled repairs and scheduled preventive maintenance to ensure optimum productivity
• Share machine setup responsibilities with operators for scheduled production runs
• Utilize mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic skills to repair production machines
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, job tickets, and work orders
• Support production needs including operating equipment, relieving breaks, and assisting with line changeovers
• Comply with all OSHA safety and health rules

Requirements

• Maintenance experience in mailing, packing, or high-speed production machines
• Technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical high-speed production equipment
• Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and PC operations
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours with frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking)
• Previous experience in a manufacturing setting
