Production Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise the planning, scheduling, and follow-up activities for the maintenance of production and packaging equipment and aseptic processes.
• Direct maintenance activities to ensure operational readiness of all facilities and equipment within budget and in compliance with regulations.
• Manage production maintenance systems and personnel, ensuring work orders are completed in a timely and quality manner.
• Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate direct-report employees, including the development of training programs for technicians.
• Maintain spare parts inventory, including monitoring levels, initiating requisitions, and conducting budget reviews.
• Ensure adherence to all production equipment preventative maintenance schedules and company safety policies.
• Assist with quality event investigations, company audits, and facility layout/design for new process areas.
• Coordinate with outside service providers for facility and equipment-related maintenance needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5 years of maintenance experience in a regulated industry (preferably sterile drug products or medical devices).
• Working knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and/or ISO 9001 requirements.
• Proficiency with computer applications including Word, Excel, and PM scheduling software.
• Valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle record.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of supervisory experience.
• Experience utilizing Maximo or similar automated PM scheduling, work order, and spare parts software.
• Experience with cGMP audit management.
