Production Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities of the maintenance department across all shifts
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve the preventative maintenance (PM) program
• Act as the primary escalation point for complex equipment failures
• Establish and manage a work order system to capture, assign, and close maintenance requests
• Partner with production supervisors to schedule maintenance around production windows
• Manage relationships with equipment manufacturers, third-party vendors, and parts suppliers
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels of spare parts and maintenance supplies
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with OSHA regulations and company safety policies
• Conduct root cause analysis on recurring failures and implement corrective actions
• Recruit, onboard, and develop maintenance personnel
• Support capital equipment projects including installation and commissioning

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
• 2+ years in a supervisory role
• Broad technical knowledge across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Experience building or managing a structured preventative maintenance program
• Familiarity with CMMS and work order platforms
• High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or vocational certification preferred
