About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation and sustainment of P&L Way principles, including Standard Work, Takt, and Visual Management.
- Drive training strategy and execution for hourly employees, Team Leaders, and Supervisors through classroom and floor-based coaching.
- Coach Supervisors and Team Leaders on leadership expectations, ownership, and accountability.
- Lead structured problem-solving efforts to identify root causes and implement permanent countermeasures.
- Strengthen the Daily Management System by driving the use of tiered meetings, visual boards, and SQD metrics.
- Maintain a strong shop floor presence to observe, coach, and reinforce standards in real-time.
- Partner cross-functionally with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and Materials teams to improve flow and performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of production/manufacturing experience, OR
- Master's degree with at least 1 year of production/manufacturing experience, OR
- At least 5 years of production/manufacturing experience.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong Lean or Toyota Production System (TPS) knowledge.
- Proven ability to train, coach, and develop frontline leaders.
- Deep understanding of standard work, flow, and daily management systems.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills for both floor and classroom environments.
- Experience developing training materials and utilizing digital tools.
