Production Line Leader

Responsibilities

• Report and communicate all issues affecting production effectively
• Ensure finished products and donor stocks maintain traceability in accordance with quality procedures
• Motivate a team to meet production targets
• Ensure final products meet client specifications
• Maximise production efficiency to meet hourly and daily plans
• Adhere to and promote health, safety, and quality regulations
• Complete and maintain accurate paperwork and systems
• Assist in developing skills matrices and training new starters
• Monitor, control, and minimise waste

Requirements

• Experience working with manufacturing machinery and processes
• Experience in a customer-led environment with changing priorities
• Ability to lead a team of people, including temporary labour
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge of company procedures and compliance
• Commitment to continuous improvement
• Preferably experience in food or packing environments
