About the role
Responsibilities
- Set up production lines and perform start-up and health and safety checks
- Lead, motivate, and support the team to achieve production targets
- Train and guide colleagues to build team capability
- Ensure finished products meet client specifications and quality standards
- Monitor KPIs including output, downtime, and waste
- Drive hourly and daily productivity to meet production plans
- Champion health, safety, hygiene, and quality standards
- Maintain accurate paperwork and systems in line with company procedures
- Ensure all areas are audit-ready and compliant with hygiene standards
Requirements
- Experience in a fast-paced production or manufacturing environment (FMCG or food preferred)
- Proven ability to motivate, coach, and develop a team
- Self-motivated and results-driven approach
- Understanding of production machinery and manufacturing processes
- Strong attention to detail regarding paperwork and stock accuracy
- Clear and confident communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
