Production Line Lead

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day manufacturing activities and supervise production lines to ensure orders are completed on schedule.
• Set up and manage production lines and attendants to meet time and safety standards.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies, including GMP, SOP, HACCP, SSOP, and Health & Safety.
• Perform quality control checks to ensure products are packaged according to customer specifications.
• Conduct recordkeeping tasks, including inventory management, order tracking, and data entry on production reports.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace, including sanitizing lines when necessary.
• Monitor equipment and facility conditions to ensure high standards of sanitation and product quality.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of production and plant processes.
• Basic analytical and numerical skills, including the ability to perform mathematical calculations in different units of measurement.
• Effective communication skills to lead and direct employees efficiently.
• Knowledge of safety methods, procedures, and chemical handling.
• Ability to lift up to 40-lbs unassisted frequently throughout the shift.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment involving noise, changing temperatures, and physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, and climbing.
• Flexibility to work scheduled hours and required overtime as needed.
