About the role
Responsibilities
- Coordinate team activities related to production, quality, and safety of food products
- Maintain work areas in a neat, safe, and orderly fashion using Lean Manufacturing techniques
- Ensure compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and OSHA guidelines
- Manage equipment set-up, change overs, and shut down duties for packaging machinery
- Train, coach, and motivate team members while communicating company values
- Create daily reports regarding staffing, production numbers, and scrapped material
- Develop and communicate visual KPIs regarding productivity, quality, and safety
- Monitor case attainment and react to schedule changes or flavor/pack type change overs
Requirements
- Experience in food production or manufacturing environments
- Ability to work 3rd shift (9:30pm-6am) Monday through Friday
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and GMP standards
- Ability to handle physical tasks including loading and removing materials using hand tools
- Strong communication skills for reporting and team coordination
