Production Line Attendant

Responsibilities

• Prepare and package cheese in accordance with customer specifications, company policies, and GMP standards
• Assist in the setup of packaging processes, including machinery, date code printers, and product labels
• Perform quality checks to ensure products meet production sheet requirements for price, date, and labeling
• Maintain accurate production reports and enter data as required
• Box and palletize products ensuring accurate counts and proper identification
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work area
• Adhere to all safety measures, including HACCP, SSOP, and H&S protocols

Requirements

• Ability to consistently push, pull, and lift between 20 and 40 pounds unassisted
• Ability to stand or walk on a concrete surface for the duration of a shift
• Capacity to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures (hot, wet, cold, humid) and noise levels
• Basic mathematical skills to perform calculations involving different units of measurement
• Working knowledge of safety methods and procedures
• Ability to work scheduled hours and required overtime as needed
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and communication skills
