Production Leader

Responsibilities

• Manage two production shopfloors (convoluted airspring and compensator production) with a headcount of 57 operatives
• Plan and operate all production and rework processes, including mixing, calendaring, extruding, vulcanization, and assembly
• Oversee in-process quality control and final inspections to ensure adherence to standards
• Manage daily activities of hourly associates and oversee shop floor training and education
• Monitor production performance metrics including cost, lead time, scrap, waste, energy, and OEE
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by applying CBS methods and training measures
• Provide input for the development of production standards, equipment layout, and logistics processes

Requirements

• University Degree in Engineering, Logistics, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of professional work experience
• At least 5 years of experience in industrial production environments
• Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience (Production Leader or Project Leader) in a multinational manufacturing environment
• Native Hungarian and fluent English (both oral and written)
