Production Lead

Responsibilities

• Act as a working Lead Tech to support designated production lines, cells, or segments to meet manufacturing schedules.
• Fabricate wiring harnesses and install electronic components, including circuit modules, relays, and diodes, into various assemblies and chassis units.
• Monitor cell productivity and takt time requirements, providing hands-on technical labor to ensure production stays on schedule.
• Report cell performance status to the Production Supervisor, including variances in manpower and indexing delays.
• Utilize shop orders, playbooks, schematics, prints, and technical manuals to complete tasks according to standard work.
• Champion Continuous Improvement activities and assist in the training and orientation of new team members.
• Identify and resolve production issues by tracking down tools, materials, or information and initiating long-term countermeasures.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must meet all requirements for Technician Level II or III.
• Recent work experience (within the last 5 years) in the field of interest.
• Demonstrated history of high-quality work and high productivity.
• Must not have received a written corrective action within the last 12 months.
