Production Lead

Responsibilities

• Manage production processes to ensure "Best in Class" standards and meet throughput goals
• Coordinate with supervisors and other leads to establish schedules, job assignments, and production sequences
• Monitor and maintain equipment, crew, and packaging processes to ensure compliance with GMP and safety standards
• Deliver, conduct, and coordinate training activities and onboarding for department members
• Manage work assignments and coordinate break rotations to maintain production flow
• Inspect raw materials and finished goods to ensure food safety and quality standards are met
• Perform production data entry and ensure all performance reports are completed accurately
• Assist in resolving machine malfunctions or processing errors to minimize downtime

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing production environment
• Experience operating a forklift, motorized pallet jacks, and manual pallet jacks
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as required
• Ability to stand, walk, and climb for 8+ hours per shift
• Ability to lift up to 55 pounds for 4+ hours per shift

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently at speed and relieve any position on the line
• Proficiency with computers and software
• ATP Testing certification
