Production Lead

Responsibilities

• Address production issues to ensure machine efficiencies and production levels are achieved
• Perform various quality checks and assist in the preventive maintenance of equipment
• Maintain accurate inventory through proper reporting of material usage and minimizing waste
• Complete all paperwork and data entry accurately to support job tasks
• Follow all plant policies to ensure safety, quality, service, and cost objectives are met
• Lead safe work habits in accordance with OSHA and company Health and Safety expectations
• Ensure good housekeeping of all work areas

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalency
• 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing and operations environment
• Experience as a team lead and performing quality control inspections on finished products
• Basic computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures and environments with occasional exposure to fumes or gases
