Production Lead

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership on shift by overseeing performance and safety of assigned personnel
• Coach, train, and motivate the production team
• Maintain quality and safety standards through audits and visual inspections
• Optimize production efficiency by planning labor, materials, and production schedules
• Drive loss elimination of raw ingredients, packaging, and finished goods
• Utilize ERP systems for inventory and production tracking
• Promote Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
• Conduct daily meetings to review performance and set goals
• Support the team by relieving operators in assigned production areas as needed

Requirements

• Supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and OSHA guidelines
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills for equipment maintenance
• Experience with production planning, scheduling, and waste minimization
• Proficiency with ERP systems and inventory management
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
