Production Lead

Responsibilities

• Enforce health and safety legislation and policies to maintain the highest degree of safe working practices.
• Lead investigations into major safety incidents and develop H&S improvement plans.
• Develop and execute the overall operations plan and master production schedule.
• Coordinate internal and external material supply through effective resource allocation and capacity planning.
• Monitor and report on operational performance, productivity levels, and production progress.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Purchasing, Sourcing, Laboratory, and Commercial functions.
• Manage Alternative Fuel (AF) blending and mixing activities to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Optimize the utilization of heavy mobile equipment to support operational efficiency.
• Lead, manage, and develop the operations team to foster a high-performance culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Science.
• 5–7 years of operational experience, with a minimum of 4 years specifically in the Kiln Area AF.
• Background in the cement industry or waste management companies.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
• Technical knowledge of RDF & Biomass Shredders and Heavy Mobile Equipment.
• Proven experience in strategy planning and budget management.
• Strong analytical skills and knowledge of effective health and safety protocols.
