Production Lead

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, and schedule activities of production associates responsible for kitting, processing, packaging, testing, and grading food products
• Monitor delivery of the production plan and resolve productivity issues
• Ensure all production areas and equipment are cleaned and sanitized according to GMP guidelines
• Train new associates on packaging machinery, safety procedures, and company policies
• Support the implementation and management of HACCP and GMP standards
• Maintain constant communication with Production, Facilities, and Maintenance Managers
• Ensure compliance with OH&S acts, regulations, and food safety standards

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years of experience in food processing, manufacturing, or service industry
• Ability to manage 30+ hourly employees
• Experience with inventory management and control
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for prolonged periods
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
• Ability to work in a refrigerated environment (0°C to 4°C)
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills
