Production Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment on the factory floor.
• Assign daily tasks and coordinate resources to meet production schedules and quality targets.
• Monitor production flow, track progress, and provide updates on priority work orders.
• Verify readiness of lines, components, and equipment, supporting set-ups and changeovers.
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving quality, equipment, or process issues in real time.
• Review and complete production documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct shift passdowns and cross-functional updates with supervisors and engineers.
• Support employee training and development, stepping in for operators when needed to keep builds on track.
• Partner with supervisors to drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• AS degree or equivalent experience (high school diploma or GED required).
• 3+ years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• 1+ year of experience in a leadership role.
• Hands-on experience in assembly, manufacturing, or production (robotics, automotive, aerospace, or electronics preferred).
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, time management, and cross-team collaboration skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work with hand tools, and handle chemicals using appropriate PPE.
