Production Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop production-related activities for the 2nd shift to meet quality, cost, safety, and morale measurements
• Facilitate communication between shifts and coordinate with other departments and functions
• Propose improvements to management by leading Continuous Improvement (CI) activities
• Conduct job instructions training, standard work audits, and recommend necessary changes
• Assist in the development of cell organization towards "Lean" manufacturing principles
• Ensure all safety and environmental requirements, emergency procedures, and company policies are strictly followed
• Act as the first point of contact for safety concerns on the production floor
• Monitor team activities to identify and mitigate potential risks
• Manage Daily Metric Boards (DMB) and drive operator productivity within the cell

Requirements

• Commercial and/or Technical Education or equivalent experience in a similar position
• Minimum 2-3 years of work experience in a manufacturing environment
• Exposure to an ISO certified manufacturing environment
• Strong command of written and oral English
• Excellent communication skills and a strong teamwork spirit
• Ability to self-motivate and solve problems independently
