Production Lead

Responsibilities

• Direct the operation of the plant facility within established quality, housekeeping, safety, and environmental guidelines.
• Coordinate daily operations for hourly production employees to ensure work is performed safely and efficiently.
• Assign tasks to shift personnel based on their experience, training, and ability.
• Ensure personnel safety through strict compliance with occupational safety and health regulations.
• Identify training needs and work with employees to develop high levels of job proficiency.
• Conduct GMP, safety, health, and environmental inspections.
• Maintain shift morale and communicate employee concerns to plant management.
• Analyze safety incidents and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a manufacturing plant environment.
• Proven experience with production processes.
• An excellent safety record and strong safety awareness.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and team-building abilities.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Completion of ADM Safety Training (or equivalent).
