About the role
Responsibilities
- Inspect parts using visual and gage inspection according to Work Instructions
- Identify and escalate defects on parts
- Assist in training employees on proper inspection methods
- Check quality of parts and operator performance at each manufacturing process
- Audit operator adherence to work instructions and perform LPA/In-process audits
- Monitor rework process and verify part conformance to specification
- Maintain production samples and accurate electronic/written quality records
- Maintain work area in accordance with 5S principles
- Work according to HSE requirements including LOTO and cleaning
Requirements
- HS Diploma or GED
- Ability to pass a color blindness assessment
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Previous experience in a production environment
- Previous experience inspecting parts
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
