Production Group Leader

Responsibilities

• Drive a "Safety Always Culture" and 5S workplace standards
• Monitor team for PPE compliance and manage work assignments
• Direct tasks to achieve quality and production goals
• Perform employee evaluations and monitor productivity
• Work with engineers to develop standardized work procedures
• Identify and eliminate waste using continuous improvement techniques
• Execute HR policies and perform monthly attendance audits
• Coach and train personnel to develop their skills
• Use KPIs to drive continuous improvement and report data to management

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Knowledge of business management and production methods
• Understanding of engineering science and technology application
• Knowledge of raw materials, quality control, and production processes
• Functional knowledge of machine design, use, and maintenance
• Ability to move frequently throughout the manufacturing plant

Preferred Qualifications

• Engineering or technical degree (chemical, mechanical, electrical, industrial)
• Business degree
• Previous leadership experience in the manufacturing industry
• Previous relevant manufacturing experience
