Production Flow Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain monitoring systems for backlog, WIP (Work in Progress), and capacity across the facility.
• Develop and enforce unified systems for customer order dwell time monitoring to ensure on-time delivery.
• Standardize order handling protocols across all four shifts to ensure 24/7 operational consistency.
• Monitor real-time facility health and advise leadership on resource pivots to clear bottlenecks.
• Lead process improvement initiatives related to material flow and facility layout to optimize throughput.
• Act as a technical bridge between floor operations and data teams to ensure visibility tools are actionable.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in high-volume manufacturing with a focus on Production Control, Planning, or Industrial Engineering.
• Proven ability to develop complex monitoring systems from scratch in an automated environment.
• Deep understanding of Lean Manufacturing, bottleneck analysis, and material flow.
• Proficiency in GSuite and Slack.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret WIP and capacity data for real-time decision-making.
• Ability to travel up to 30% during the first 1–2 months for training in Provo, UT or Dallas, TX.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Industrial Engineering and facility layout software.
• Experience establishing production control departments during greenfield facility launches.
• Background in high-tech hardware or automated medical device manufacturing.
