Production/Factory Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the entire production process within the joinery and wood factory.
• Develop production plans and schedules to meet customer orders and project deadlines.
• Allocate manpower, machinery, and equipment efficiently to maximize output.
• Implement quality control processes and conduct regular inspections to ensure high standards.
• Monitor production costs and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Lead, train, and motivate production teams to achieve targets and maintain a positive environment.
• Ensure strict compliance with health and safety protocols and regulations.
• Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished products to prevent shortages.
• Collaborate with the design team to evaluate the feasibility of designs for production.

Requirements

• Proven experience working within a Joinery company is mandatory.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar production management role.
• A degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Expertise in woodworking machinery, equipment, and tools.
• Proficiency in CAD software for design evaluation and production planning.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
