About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance and troubleshoot equipment problems to ensure maximum availability.
  • Respond to technical support calls promptly to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Log all support calls into the technician tracking system to account for work time and parts.
  • Install electrical wiring, controls, and computer hardware related to production equipment.
  • Relocate production equipment and support the installation of new machinery as required.
  • Track parts usage and provide input to management regarding suggested inventory levels.
  • Ensure compliance with maintenance records in accordance with OSHA and EPA requirements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3 years of experience within a production environment with knowledge of equipment repair.
  • Proven proficiency in the operation and repair of high-speed production equipment.
  • Ability to stand for the duration of an assigned shift.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move 25+ lbs throughout the duration of a shift.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to work under time constraints.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical or vocational education.
  • Vendor or equipment repair certification for insertion platforms (e.g., Blue Crest, Bowe, Buhrs, etc.).
