Production Equipment Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance and troubleshoot equipment problems
• Respond to technical support calls promptly to ensure timely resolution
• Log all support calls into the technician tracking system to account for work time and parts
• Install electrical wiring, controls, and computer hardware related to production equipment
• Relocate production equipment and support the installation of new equipment
• Track parts usage and provide input to management regarding inventory levels
• Ensure compliance with maintenance records in accordance with OSHA and EPA requirements
• Adhere to all safety procedures and maintain a positive team environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3 years of experience within a production environment
• Ability to stand for the duration of an assigned shift
• Ability to lift, carry, and move 25+ lbs throughout the duration of a shift
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to take direction and work effectively under time constraints

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical or vocational education
