About the role

Responsibilities

  • Conduct corrective and preventative maintenance on production equipment and controls to ensure continuous machinery operation
  • Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and diagnose machine or process issues to make necessary adjustments
  • Coordinate with the production department to schedule preventative maintenance and troubleshooting work
  • Prepare and manage periodic preventative maintenance schedules and maintain detailed activity records
  • Respond immediately to production floor needs and requirements
  • Maintain a safe work environment and comply with all safety policies and regulations
  • Follow company cleaning SOPs and maintain worksite cleanliness in accordance with 5S3R standards

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts and accommodate rotating schedules/overtime
  • Proficiency with Microsoft products
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to analyze problems and determine root causes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Vocational Certificate or Associate degree in a relevant field
  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Experience with PLC, Robotics, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, HMI, Vision, or Servo systems
  • Experience using enterprise software such as Maximo
