Production Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage a dynamic team of Manufacturing, Tooling, NC Programming, Liaison, and Industrial Engineers.
• Develop and execute project and process plans, including the implementation of policies and procedures.
• Lead a team to execute tooling and model-based instruction (MBI) release curves.
• Set operational goals and acquire necessary resources for projects and processes.
• Provide technical management of suppliers and lead process improvement initiatives.
• Oversee and approve technical approaches, products, and processes to ensure quality and productivity.
• Manage, develop, and motivate employees to achieve high performance and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 1+ year of experience leading or managing engineering teams.
• Experience with production and assembly processes.
• Ability to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance post-start.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in the aerospace industry, particularly with military or defense programs.
• Knowledge of Boeing's organizational processes, program plans, and policies.
• Demonstrated ability in budget management and business process improvement.
• Familiarity with critical path methodology and project leadership principles.
• Existing valid US Security Clearance.
